The Kester Group works on a flat fee that is based on the complexity of the application and the time remaining until the deadline. Over the years we have found that flat fees benefit you the most. It is essential that you work with us constantly throughout the grant preparation process, and we never want communication to be hampered by someone thinking, “oh gee, if I call them, it’s going to cost me.”

• Retainer Agreements: Flat fee, based on number of proposals desired
• Grant Proposals: $3,000 - $10,000
• Research Reports: $2,500
• Speaking Engagements: $1,000/day plus expenses
• Program Evaluations: $1,000/day plus expenses

Percentage-Based or Contingency Fee Compensation

The Kester Group supports and follows the ethical standards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Grant Professionals Association. We never work on a commission or contingency fee basis (payment only if the grant is funded), nor are we allowed to build our fee into most grants. (Several laws and regulations prohibit this in most cases.)
