Many resources are available online and in print to help you improve your grant writing and grants management skills. We recommend the following:

Professional Development - Membership Organizations and Conferences

  • Grant Professionals Association (GPA) - membership organization with annual national conference* and other learning and networking opportunities for grant writers and grants managers; check website to locate a chapter near you 
  • Arkansas Chapter of the GPA - Arkansas chapter of the Grant Professionals Association; check the national website for a chapter near you
  • Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) - membership organization with annual international conference and other learning and networking opportunities for those responsible for raising funds for their organization
  • CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support for Education) - membership organization for those responsible for raising funds for educational institutions (K-12 through higher education); especially useful is the annual conference for Corporate and Foundation Relations officers
  • CRD (Council for Resource Development) - membership organization similar to CASE that is focused on 2-year colleges
